The BOSS GX-1B brings professional-grade bass processing into a compact and highly portable format, delivering authentic amp feel and studio-quality effects wherever you play. Powered by advanced AIRD amp technology, it captures the dynamics, response and depth of real tube bass amplifiers, making it equally suited to home practice, studio recording and stage performance.

Intuitive control with deep sound-shaping capability

Designed specifically for bassists, the GX-1B features 16 dedicated bass amp types and over 130 BOSS effects, all accessible through a bright colour display and intuitive effect category buttons. Gear Suite integration enables fast sound creation and instant recall of curated tones, while support for WAV speaker IRs allows precise cabinet shaping to suit any rig or monitoring setup.

Modern connectivity and flexible performance control

With three assignable footswitches and an expression pedal with toe switch, the GX-1B provides hands-on control for expressive playing. Bluetooth audio and MIDI support wireless editing and audio streaming, while USB-C connectivity enables direct recording and playback with DAWs. Multiple power options — including batteries, USB or AC adaptor — ensure dependable operation in any environment.

This is my second Snark Tuner, there are various versions, this one is for use at home the other is RF shielded and has rubber protection incase dropped. Both work excellent and are the best clip-on tuners I have used.
