The BOSS JB-2 Angry Driver is a unique and powerful overdrive/distortion pedal that is the result of a collaboration between BOSS and JHS Pedals. This special edition pedal combines the classic, bluesy tones of the BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver with the aggressive, high-gain sounds of the JHS Angry Charlie.
Two Iconic Circuits in One Pedal
The JB-2 is a true dual-circuit pedal, featuring both the BOSS BD-2 and the JHS Angry Charlie in one unit. A central mode knob allows you to select from six different combinations of the two circuits, giving you a huge range of tones. You can use the circuits independently, in series with the Angry Charlie driving the Blues Driver, with the Blues Driver driving the Angry Charlie, or in parallel. This versatility makes it an all-in-one solution for a wide range of musical styles, from classic rock to modern hard rock.
Intuitive and Expressive Control
Despite its dual nature, the JB-2 features a simple and intuitive control layout. The pedal's dual concentric knobs allow you to independently adjust the level and drive of each circuit. This makes it easy to fine-tune your sound and create unique hybrid tones. The Angry Driver responds incredibly well to your playing dynamics, and it can be controlled with an external footswitch for even more flexibility.
