The Xone:43 is a pure analogue mixer without a soundcard or built-in effects. The Xone:96 is the flagship with dual soundcards, parametric EQ, and dual VCF filters. The PX5 occupies the space between them: the same legendary Xone analogue signal path and VCF filter, expanded with a 20-channel USB soundcard for DVS and digital DJ workflows, a full Xcite FX suite of built-in digital effects, per-channel send/return FX routing, X:Link connectivity for Xone:K series controllers, and MIDI clock output for hardware synchronisation. Xone Analogue Sound, Full Digital Infrastructure — Allen & Heath Xone:PX5, 4+1 Channels With USB Soundcard, Built-In FX, And X:Link

The Allen & Heath Xone:PX5 is a 4+1 channel analogue DJ mixer with integrated 20-channel USB soundcard, built-in Xone:Xcite digital FX suite, and X:Link connectivity. The four main channels accept Phono, USB, or Line sources, each with 3-band EQ with Total Kill and per-channel X:FX send control for routing signal to either the internal FX engine or an external effects unit connected via the rear-panel send/return. The fifth mic/aux channel accepts XLR and 6.35mm jack inputs with a full 3-band EQ. The analogue VCF filter delivers HPF, BPF, and LPF modes with resonance control, freely assignable across all channels. A master insert with switchable Line or Hi-Z level extends the routing options for incorporating guitar pedals, dynamic processors, and other instrument-level effects hardware.

The Xone:Xcite FX suite provides on-board digital effects including spectral delays, resonators, reverbs, flangers, modulators, and distortion, all assignable through hands-on controls alongside the analogue signal path. The 20-channel 24-bit/96kHz USB soundcard supports DVS control of Native Instruments Traktor Scratch Pro 3 out of the box. X:Link allows direct connection of Xone:K series controllers for expanded MIDI control without consuming a laptop USB port. An integrated MIDI clock engine sends start/stop messages to external hardware via the 5-pin DIN MIDI output. The crossfader is replaceable and upgradeable to an Innofader Pro 2. Dual headphone outputs (6.35mm and 3.5mm) are on the front panel with split cue monitoring.
