Novation is a British musical equipment manufacturer founded in 1992. Now part of the Focusrite group, the company originally built its reputation on analogue synthesisers like the classic Bass Station. Today, they are widely recognised for their comprehensive range of MIDI keyboards, grid controllers, and grooveboxes.

Their controller lineup—including the Launchkey and Launchpad series—is heavily integrated with major DAWs like Ableton Live and FL Studio, providing producers with tactile, hands-on control over software instruments, sequencing, and mixing.
