At the heart of the Allen & Heath ZED-10 are its acclaimed DuoPre preamps, designed to deliver exceptional audio transparency and headroom. These dual-stage preamps provide two gain stages, ensuring a clean and quiet signal whether you're using a condenser microphone or a high-output instrument. Each mono channel also features a highly musical 3-band EQ with MusiQ, offering responsive and intuitive tonal shaping. The integrated USB audio interface provides convenient stereo input and output for seamless connection to computers, enabling easy recording of your mixes or playback from your DAW, making it a robust hub for your audio production.

Versatile Connectivity And Included Software

The ZED-10 boasts flexible routing options, including two auxiliary sends for monitor mixes or external effects, and an FX send for the internal effects unit (if applicable to the model, or for external processing). Its comprehensive I/O includes dedicated XLR main outputs, monitor outputs, and a headphones output. The robust construction with individual circuit boards mounted vertically and rotary potentiometers secured to the front panel ensures durability.
