The Arturia KeyStep 37 mk2 is a powerful MIDI and CV controller designed for musicians working across hardware, software and modular environments. At its core is a 37-note Slimkey keyboard with velocity sensitivity and aftertouch, delivering expressive playability in a compact footprint that fits easily into modern studio and live setups.

A true ideas machine

Beyond traditional controller duties, KeyStep 37 mk2 excels as a creative sequencing and arpeggiation tool. Its polyphonic step sequencer, 16-mode arpeggiator and pattern chaining capabilities are enhanced by generative features such as Mutate, Spice and Dice, allowing sequences to evolve organically in real time. Capture ideas quickly, transform arpeggios into sequences, overdub notes, adjust lengths and octaves, or introduce variation on the fly to keep inspiration flowing.

Hands-on workflow with deep control

Four dedicated encoders provide immediate access to sequencer, arpeggiator and performance parameters, minimising menu diving and supporting fluid, hands-on creation. These encoders are also freely assignable, making KeyStep 37 mk2 equally effective as a custom MIDI CC or CV controller for DAWs, synths and modular systems.

Comprehensive connectivity for hybrid rigs

Designed to integrate seamlessly with almost any setup, KeyStep 37 mk2 offers USB-C MIDI, full-size MIDI DIN I/O, sync connections and a sustain or expression pedal input. Four configurable CV outputs — Pitch, Gate, Mod 1 and Mod 2 — allow expressive control of modular and analogue gear, with assignments for velocity, aftertouch, modulation and more.

This is my second Snark Tuner, there are various versions, this one is for use at home the other is RF shielded and has rubber protection incase dropped. Both work excellent and are the best clip-on tuners I have used.
