The BOSS Katana-100/212 Gen 3 is a third-generation guitar amplifier that brings improved sound, feel, and response to the stage and studio. It is a 100-watt combo amplifier featuring two custom 12-inch speakers and Class AB power, delivering a wide range of powerful and expressive tones.
Advanced Tones and Effects
This amplifier includes six amp characters with a new "Pushed" type, and each character has a selectable variation, giving you a total of 12 distinct tonal options. It also features five independent effects sections: Booster, Mod, FX, Delay, and Reverb, each with three variations, providing access to 15 unique effects. The updated Tube Logic enhancements offer an authentic feel and response, making it sound and feel like a cranked tube amp, even at low volumes.
Intuitive Control and Connectivity
The Katana-100/212 Gen 3 provides intuitive control with a three-way Contour for shaping tonal color and three Cabinet Resonance options (Vintage, Modern, Deep). You can store your favorite settings in eight Tone Setting memories for instant recall. The amp also has a Power Amp In jack, a Stereo Expand function to link two amps, and a headphone jack for silent practice. The USB-C port allows for direct recording, and the updated BOSS Tone Studio app offers wireless editing via Bluetooth.
