The Nektar Panorama P1 is a powerful MIDI controller with deep DAW integration.
Nektar Aruba is a dedicated beat-making and performance controller. It combines 16 RGB velocity-sensitive pads, a step sequencer, pad repeat engine, and deep plugin control. With the included Nektarine software and 500+ drum sounds, Aruba becomes a complete solution for beat creation in any DAW.
Performance control
Aruba puts performance first with 16 large velocity and pressure-sensitive pads and 8 endless rotary encoders for direct access to parameters. Dedicated buttons switch instantly between pad, sequencer, repeat, and DAW control modes.
Step sequencer
The hardware sequencer is inspired by classic drum machines. Use the 16-step interface to build beats, record patterns in real-time, and trigger parts on the fly. Each pad can hold its own pattern with up to 64 steps, making polyrhythms and variations easy to create.
Pad repeat
The on-board pad repeat engine makes rolls, trap-style hi-hats, and dynamic percussive lines simple to achieve. Control repeat rate, swing, accent and gate in real-time with the encoders.
Nektarine software
Nektarine turns Aruba into a complete production hub. Load VST, VST3, AU or AAX plugins, build kits with samples or instruments, and access over 500 included drum sounds. The DP-1 drum player and K1, S1, T1 synths expand your sound palette further.
DAW integration
With Nektar DAW integration, Aruba controls transport, navigation, track selection and more. Aruba automatically updates to match the selected DAW track and integrates tightly with Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, Studio One, Reason and others.
