The EHX Lizard King is a dedicated octave fuzz pedal optimized for use with bass guitar and other instruments. It is based on the vintage-inspired circuit of the EHX x JHS Lizard Queen, with updated controls tailored for low-end instruments.
This pedal is a dynamically responsive, fixed-gain fuzz that provides a raw, vintage-style octave-fuzz tone. Its key feature is the new Blend knob, which allows the user to mix their clean signal with the fuzz, preserving the instrument's fundamental tone and low-end clarity. The pedal also includes a Tone control to smooth the high-end of the fuzz and a unique Octave knob to blend in the retro octave effect. A two-position Sun/Shadow toggle switch offers further tonal shaping.
