Classic 1960s Fuzztone Recreation With True Bypass – Electro-Harmonix Satisfaction Fuzz Pedal.

The Electro-Harmonix Satisfaction Fuzz Pedal is a modern recreation of the raw, aggressive fuzztone sounds that defined 1960s rock and garage music. With its simple two-knob design—Volume for output level and Attack for fuzz amount—it delivers everything from biting, raspy edge to thick, saturated mayhem, staying true to vintage circuits while adding true bypass for clean signal when disengaged.

Tone And Character

Inspired by early fuzz designs (notably similar to Jordan BossTone circuits), the Satisfaction delivers bright, stinging, and raunchy fuzz with decent sustain but limited bass—perfect for cutting through mixes. The Attack knob sweeps from subtle grit to full saturation, while dynamics respond well to guitar volume knob cleanup for versatile expression in leads or rhythms.

Controls And Operation

Two simple knobs: VOL sets overall output level, ATTACK adjusts fuzz intensity and input gain. True bypass switching preserves your tone when disengaged, with a red LED indicator for status. Standard 1/4" input/output jacks, mono audio path, and easy footswitch engagement make it straightforward for any setup.

Build And Power

Compact nano chassis (4.5 x 2.75 x 2.1 inches) in rugged die-cast metal for durability on the road or stage. Powered by included 9V battery or optional 9.6VDC-200mA adapter (center negative, not included), with very low 2mA draw for extended battery life.
