Equinox Gigabar MKII – Compact 4-Par T-Bar Lighting Solution

The Equinox Gigabar MKII is a versatile all-in-one T-bar lighting system designed for mobile entertainers, DJs, and small event venues. Featuring four powerful 30W tri-colour COB LEDs, the unit creates rich RGB washes and dynamic effects. Each par panel is independently adjustable, allowing maximum stage or room coverage. A foot controller is included for instant on-stage control, while the LED display allows easy selection of DMX, auto, sound active, and master/slave modes.

This system is ideal for mobile setups thanks to its lightweight design, adjustable stand, and convenient carry bag. Its ease of setup and breakdown makes it perfect for live performances, school events, weddings, and small stage productions.

Dynamic Effects And Control

The four LED pars each produce a 95° beam angle, with a supplied lens providing a narrower 30° beam. Light output measures 1,120 Lux at 2m (30°) or 191 Lux at 2m (95°) per par at full intensity. DMX channels are selectable between 1, 3, 7, 12, or 16, while built-in programs allow fast plug-and-play operation. Auto, sound active, and master/slave modes ensure flexible operation for a wide variety of events.

Connectivity And Operation

The Gigabar MKII features 3-pin XLR input/output, 5-pin input for foot controller, and IEC power input with 2 unswitched outputs, allowing daisy-chaining of multiple units. The 4-button LED menu provides intuitive control over all modes, including dimming and strobe functionality, while the unit’s convection-cooled design ensures reliable performance over long events.

Robust And Portable Design

Constructed from all-metal housing, the T-bar and par panels are built for longevity. The adjustable stand (1340–2100mm) and included carry bag make transport and setup simple and safe. The compact bar dimensions (235 x 990 x 90mm) and lightweight design (12.5kg) make this system an excellent choice for mobile entertainers requiring professional effects in a single, portable package.
