The Evans BD22EMAD2 EMAD2 Clear bass drum batter head features two plies of film — an outer 7mil ply and an inner 10mil ply — for enhanced attack, focus, and durability. The industry-standard EMAD (Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping) system allows the player to adjust attack and focus using included foam damping rings, producing a very defined attack, short sustain, and moderately dark tone. Evans Level 360 Technology ensures ease of tuning and consistent quality.

This is my second Snark Tuner, there are various versions, this one is for use at home the other is RF shielded and has rubber protection incase dropped. Both work excellent and are the best clip-on tuners I have used.
