The FBT X-LITE 108A is a compact 2-way bi-amplified active speaker, ideal for portable sound reinforcement and small fixed installations. An 8" woofer with 2" voice coil and a 1" compression driver coupled to a 90° x 60° constant directivity horn deliver high-fidelity sound for speech and music, powered by a Class D amplifier providing 600W LF and 200W HF for a maximum SPL of 124dB (120dB continuous) across a 58Hz–20kHz frequency response. The lightweight, gas-injected polypropylene cabinet is designed to eliminate unwanted resonances and is protected by a steel grille, while its black finish blends into any décor.
The integrated two-channel mixer features a dedicated Bluetooth 5.0 channel with pairing LED and an independent mic/line input with volume control, alongside a balanced XLR output with link/mix selector, high-pass filter and four DSP presets for flexible operation. The asymmetrical cabinet doubles as a powered floor monitor with 30° and 45° angles, a standard 35mm stand socket allows speaker stand mounting, and four built-in M10 rigging points with optional brackets enable wall or ceiling installation. At just 10kg with integrated handles, it is easy to carry and place wherever it is needed.
Bi-Amplified 2-Way Design
Custom FBT high-efficiency drivers with extended linear excursion capability are driven by dedicated amplifiers for each band: 600W for the 8" woofer and 200W for the 1" compression driver. The result is clear, detailed sound with strong output of up to 124dB peak SPL, and the 90° x 60° constant directivity horn provides even, controlled coverage across the room.
Two-Channel Mixer, Bluetooth & DSP
One channel is dedicated to Bluetooth 5.0 streaming with a pairing LED, and a second independent mic/line channel with volume control accepts a microphone or line-level source. A balanced XLR output with link/mix selector allows the signal to be passed to additional speakers, a high-pass filter helps integration with a subwoofer, and four DSP presets optimise the sound for different applications.
Flexible Mounting & Rugged Construction
The gas-injected polypropylene cabinet and steel grille are lightweight yet built for regular use, with integrated handles for easy carrying. Use it on a speaker stand, as a floor monitor at 30° or 45°, or surface-mount it on a wall or ceiling using the four M10 rigging points and optional brackets.
