Compact 12" Bass-Reflex Active Subwoofer With 1200W Class D Amplifier, 4-Preset DSP & 133dB Peak SPL For Live Sound, DJs & Portable PA Systems – FBT X-SUB 112SA Black.
The FBT X-SUB 112SA is a compact 12" bass-reflex active subwoofer built to add weight and impact to your sound without taking over the room. A 12" woofer with 2.5" voice coil in a bass-reflex cabinet delivers bass that is tight and musical rather than boomy, with plenty of punch for bands, DJs and events, making it the ideal companion for the FBT X-LITE and X-PRO series. A 1200W Class D amplifier with switching power supply drives the woofer to up to 133dB peak SPL (129dB continuous, half-space) across a 48Hz–120Hz frequency range, with plenty of headroom for busy rooms and larger audiences.
Onboard DSP with four presets, made up of two responses with two different cut-off frequencies, lets you optimise the sub for your speakers and room. The rear panel provides stereo XLR inputs with loop, XLR outputs, high-pass filtered outputs, a level control, a preset switch and a 0°/180° phase reversal switch, with LED indicators for protection and limiter status, making it simple to blend the subwoofer with your top boxes. The 15mm birch plywood cabinet has a scratch-resistant black finish and two aluminium handles for easier lifting and positioning, and a top-mounted M20 pole socket allows a compatible top speaker to be mounted directly above the sub for a neat, stable setup. A 5m power cord is supplied.
Powerful, Efficient Amplification
The 1200W Class D amplifier with switching power supply delivers efficient, powerful performance, driving the 12" woofer to up to 133dB peak SPL (129dB continuous, half-space). The 48Hz–120Hz frequency response provides focused low-frequency extension with plenty of headroom for busy rooms and larger audiences.
Easy To Set Up & Tune
Four DSP presets, made up of two responses with two different cut-off frequencies, let you optimise the sub for the speakers and room you are working with. Stereo XLR inputs with loop, XLR outputs and high-pass filtered outputs allow flexible connection to mixers and top boxes, while the level control, preset switch and phase reversal switch make blending straightforward.
Built For Regular Use
The 15mm birch plywood cabinet with scratch-resistant black finish is built for reliable everyday use, and two aluminium handles make it easier to lift and position. The top-mounted M20 pole socket lets you mount a compatible top speaker directly above the sub on a pole.
