Comprehensive Software Suite and Tone Ecosystem

The TONEX Pedal is more than just a stompbox — it’s the centre of a complete ecosystem that spans software, hardware, and mobile platforms. Included with the pedal is TONEX MAX, a powerful desktop application for creating and managing Tone Models. Using TONEX MAX, musicians can capture their own amplifiers and pedals, tweak parameters, and organise their personal tone library. The software also integrates seamlessly with AmpliTube 5, allowing players to combine their Tone Models with virtual effects, cabinets, and recording tools in a fully-featured production environment.

Complementing this is the TONEX Editor, a standalone control and librarian app for macOS and Windows. It enables real-time editing of every onboard parameter, instant preset auditioning, and deep integration with the pedal itself. The Editor’s Librarian tab offers access to the entire ToneNET library — an ever-growing online collection of user and artist Tone Models — letting you download, preview, and load them directly into your pedal. For mobile use, the free TONEX iOS app brings the same high-quality tones to your iPhone or iPad for practice or recording on the go.

Performance and Flexibility

With ultra-low noise 24-bit / 192kHz processing, a wide 5Hz–24kHz frequency response, and 123dB dynamic range, TONEX Pedal delivers a pristine, professional-grade signal path. Up to 150 presets can be stored in 50 banks, each containing complete rig setups that can be recalled instantly on stage.

For further tonal shaping, the pedal features an onboard effects section with noise gate, EQ, compressor, two delays, five modulation effects, and six stereo reverbs — all controllable via MIDI or an expression pedal. The advanced VIR™ Multi-IR Cabinet System enables ultra-detailed cabinet and microphone simulation, while the custom IR loader lets users import their own impulse responses for total flexibility.

When connected via USB, the TONEX Pedal doubles as a high-quality 24-bit audio interface, providing direct recording to your DAW with no external interface required.
