The IK Multimedia AXE I/O ONE USB Audio Interface combines a high-quality 24-bit/192 kHz interface with advanced guitar and bass tone shaping. Designed for recording, practice, and performance, it delivers pristine audio with professional-grade preamps, low-noise converters, and IK’s proprietary Z-TONE® impedance-adapting input, allowing players to extract the full tonal character from any instrument.

With integrated Amp Out, MIDI connectivity, and configurable expression/switch inputs, AXE I/O ONE offers a versatile all-in-one solution for home studios, mobile setups, and live performance rigs. The included AmpliTube 5 SE, TONEX SE, and Ableton Live Lite software provide instant access to thousands of amp, cab, and pedal Tone Models, making it a complete digital studio setup right out of the box.

Tone Shaping And Software Integration

The Z-TONE® circuit allows precise control over instrument impedance, shaping your tone from bright and tight to thick and bold. A selectable Active/Passive pickup switch and the JFET/PURE input ensure optimal tone for any guitar or bass.

AXE I/O ONE comes bundled with AmpliTube 5 SE, offering 80+ gear pieces for amp, cab, stomp, and rack emulations, and TONEX SE, IK’s AI Machine Modeling software that allows users to capture and reproduce their own rigs or access thousands of modeled rigs via ToneNET, which hosts over 10,000 Tone Models and 6,000 AmpliTube presets. Ableton Live Lite provides full DAW integration for recording and production.

Connectivity And Operation

The interface provides 1 ultra-low-noise XLR mic / instrument input, Amp Out, 2 balanced monitor outputs, headphone out, and MIDI I/O, along with 2 programmable external control inputs for expression pedals or footswitches. Its USB-C connectivity ensures fast, plug-and-play operation with Mac, PC, and iPad. Users can also integrate the interface with external MIDI controllers, keyboards, or IK’s iRig Stomp I/O for extended control.
