The IK Multimedia iRig Keys I/O 25 is an all-in-one, ultra-compact MIDI keyboard controller with an integrated professional-grade audio interface. Featuring full-sized, velocity-sensitive keys and a smooth synth-action keybed, it’s ideal for mobile musicians, home studios, and live performance applications. Its compact dimensions make it perfect for small spaces, travel, or mobile setups without sacrificing professional functionality.

This controller integrates a 24-bit / 96kHz audio interface with balanced stereo outputs, headphone monitoring, and a Neutrik® combo input for microphone, line, or instrument sources—including 48V phantom power. It’s perfect for recording, producing, performing, or practicing anywhere, while maintaining pristine sound quality.

Connectivity And Operation

iRig Keys I/O 25 offers universal connectivity for iPhone, iPad, Mac, PC, and even Android devices. It includes a Lightning cable for iOS, USB cable for Mac/PC, and can be powered via USB, 4 AA batteries, or optional external PSU (which can charge your iOS device). Its balanced stereo output supports long cable runs to mixers or PA systems, and the headphone output allows private practice or monitoring.

The combo input accepts microphones, line-level instruments, and high-impedance guitars and basses, with Class-A preamp quality ensuring low-noise, professional recordings. Phantom power for condenser mics is available even when using battery operation, making this one of the most flexible mobile audio solutions on the market.

Creative Control And Workflow

iRig Keys I/O 25 features 8 multicoloured, velocity-sensitive pads, 5 touch-sensitive programmable knobs, and 2 fully programmable touch strips acting as pitch/mod controls or sliders. Additional transport buttons, octave and program controls provide complete workflow integration for music production, recording, or live performance. Capacitive touch technology ensures instant responsiveness and parameter feedback.

Its ultra-compact design allows the keyboard to fit on small desks or travel cases, making it ideal for mobile musicians, DJs, and producers who need full-sized keys in the smallest footprint possible.

Software Compatibility And Features

iRig Keys I/O 25 works with all major DAWs, including Logic Pro and GarageBand, and can control software directly with the downloadable Control Surface plug-in. Its MFi certification ensures seamless operation with iOS devices, including the latest iPhone models that lack a headphone jack. The included mobile device stand and optional power supply enable extended mobile sessions.
