Why The NM20 Is A Worthwhile Upgrade Over The Classic NM2

The NM2 earned its reputation as a dependable professional in-ear monitor, so an upgrade has to offer something real. The NM20 changes the driver, the shell, the cable connection and the acoustic design, with the aim of a cleaner, more transparent and more natural reference-style sound.

The key addition is the patented Clutter Trap acoustic technology, which reduces unwanted resonance inside the housing. Less resonance means better clarity, detail and tonal accuracy, which is what you want from a monitor used for stage work, recording and critical listening. The shell has also been redesigned for lasting comfort and durability.

Description

A Refined Reference-Style Monitor, Upgraded From The NM2 - NF Acoustics NM20 In-Ear Monitors

The NF Acoustics NM20 is a professional in-ear monitor built around an MC2L-100P dynamic driver and patented Clutter Trap acoustic technology. It delivers a clean, transparent and natural sound for stage monitoring, recording and critical listening, and suits musicians, engineers and audio professionals who want a more precise monitor than the classic NM2.

Sound And Acoustic Technology

The MC2L-100P dynamic driver works with Clutter Trap to reduce resonance and improve clarity, detail and tonal accuracy. Sensitivity is 108 dB/mW with a 32 ohm impedance, a frequency response of 9 Hz to 40 kHz and a maximum SPL of 125 dB, with distortion below 1%.

Build And Comfort

The shell is lightweight, transparent, high-strength polycarbonate with premium aluminium accents, built for comfort and durability. Passive noise isolation is rated at 25 dB, and four sizes of ear tips (MS, S, M and L) are supplied so you can find a secure fit.

Cable And Connection

The NM20 uses a redesigned 0.78mm 2-pin connection, which gives a secure and reliable fit, with a 5N oxygen-free copper cable terminated in a 3.5mm plug. A 3.5mm to 6.35mm adapter and a storage box are included.

Ordered guitar strings which arrived in two days, inside package was an offer for a guitar tuner which also arrived in two days. Excellent customer service.

Terence Hamilton

At the offer price this was very good value for money. I have generally found Snark tuners to be very good although with the low tunings I use I often find they can take a little time to give an accurate reading moving from string to string. Otherwise, Great!

Jake Glanville

The Snark SN1X clip on guitar tuner is a very handy and accurate tuner, very easy to use and at a great prices too! 👍🌟🍺😸

Jason Davey

This is my second Snark Tuner, there are various versions, this one is for use at home the other is RF shielded and has rubber protection incase dropped. Both work excellent and are the best clip-on tuners I have used. The service given by Audio Direct was first class, Dave even telephoned me to discuss a query I had not something many online traders would do so overall 10/10

Powerful, purpose‑built music production PC that fits extremely well with the demands of Asian music

If you’re into producing Asian music — Bollywood & Bhangra this system is exactly what you need

i have huge sample libraries — sitar, tabla, erhu, taiko drums — plus modern synth layers and this PC handles all of it without breaking a sweat.

It sounds like it's supposed to sound, easy to shape the tone on each of my electric guitars. Yes, each of the amplugs is a one (or two) trick pony, but they do what they're supposed to well, and they each sound like the amp they emulate.

Daniel

Really good clear display, large screen for easy use. Light touch activation button, accurate tuning. Sturdy strong feel but light, Nice shade of blue shell. fits securely to headstock, easy to detach. Pleased with my purchase.
