Why Choose The NF Acoustics NM2 For Stage And Studio Monitoring?

A good in-ear monitor needs to do three things well. It has to sound accurate enough to trust, fit securely enough to stay put through a full set, and block enough outside noise that you can monitor at a sensible volume. The NF Acoustics NM2 is built around those priorities, with a tuning aimed at balance and clarity rather than flattery.

The NM2 draws on NF Acoustics’ experience with custom in-ear monitors, and that shows in the shape of the shell. It sits comfortably in the ear and gives effective passive isolation, which helps on a loud stage as much as it does when tracking or checking a mix. A subtle lift in the low frequencies gives a little extra weight for monitoring without losing the detail underneath.

Description

Accurate, Natural Monitoring For Performers And Engineers - NF Acoustics NM2 In-Ear Monitors

The NF Acoustics NM2 is a professional in-ear monitor with a dynamic driver, a precisely engineered acoustic cavity and a carefully controlled air pressure system. It produces a balanced, detailed sound with accurate timbre, and it suits live monitoring, recording, production and critical listening for musicians, performers and audio professionals.

Driver And Acoustic Design

The NM2 uses an MC2L-10 dynamic driver inside a precision engineered acoustic chamber. The air pressure system is tuned to control the response, giving a sound with accurate timbre and a gentle low-frequency lift. Sensitivity is 108 dB/mW with an 18 ohm impedance, so the NM2 is easy to drive from the headphone output of a body-pack, interface or mixer.

Comfort And Isolation

The ergonomic shell is designed for a secure, comfortable fit, and the NM2 is supplied with two sets of ear tips in three sizes each, Balanced and Atmosphere, so you can choose the fit and sound you prefer. Passive noise isolation is rated at 25 dB, which helps keep stage volume out and monitoring levels down.

Cable And Accessories

The NM2 uses a detachable 2-pin 5N silver-coated oxygen-free copper cable terminated in a 3.5mm plug, and a 3.5mm to 6.35mm adapter is included for connecting to larger headphone outputs. A storage box keeps everything together between sessions.

Ordered guitar strings which arrived in two days, inside package was an offer for a guitar tuner which also arrived in two days. Excellent customer service.

Terence Hamilton

At the offer price this was very good value for money. I have generally found Snark tuners to be very good although with the low tunings I use I often find they can take a little time to give an accurate reading moving from string to string. Otherwise, Great!

Jake Glanville

The Snark SN1X clip on guitar tuner is a very handy and accurate tuner, very easy to use and at a great prices too! 👍🌟🍺😸

Jason Davey

This is my second Snark Tuner, there are various versions, this one is for use at home the other is RF shielded and has rubber protection incase dropped. Both work excellent and are the best clip-on tuners I have used. The service given by Audio Direct was first class, Dave even telephoned me to discuss a query I had not something many online traders would do so overall 10/10

Powerful, purpose‑built music production PC that fits extremely well with the demands of Asian music

If you’re into producing Asian music — Bollywood & Bhangra this system is exactly what you need

i have huge sample libraries — sitar, tabla, erhu, taiko drums — plus modern synth layers and this PC handles all of it without breaking a sweat.

Musical, dependable looper offering rich stereo sound, generous memory, and helpful rhythm options. Ideal for practice, songwriting, and live performance

It sounds like it's supposed to sound, easy to shape the tone on each of my electric guitars. Yes, each of the amplugs is a one (or two) trick pony, but they do what they're supposed to well, and they each sound like the amp they emulate.

Daniel

Really good clear display, large screen for easy use. Light touch activation button, accurate tuning. Sturdy strong feel but light, Nice shade of blue shell. fits securely to headstock, easy to detach. Pleased with my purchase.
