The Equinox Asteroid is a striking high-output centrepiece effect light featuring 5 x 40W quad-colour RGBW LEDs that produce 98 pin sharp 2° beams, filling an entire room with dynamic multi-beam colour effects. Five section colour control allows for a wide range of colour combinations to be created simultaneously, and thanks to clever built-in programming, the LEDs chase around the ball to generate an impressive variety of room-filling effects. Weighing 6.5kg and supplied with a quick release omega clamp, it is well suited to clubs, bars, theatres, live events and large-scale entertainment venues where a bold centrepiece effect is required.

Control is comprehensive and flexible, with DMX channel modes of 4, 7, 15, 23 or 31 selectable via the 4-button OLED display menu. Auto, sound active and primary/secondary modes allow the fixture to operate independently, while full DMX control enables precise integration into a wider lighting rig. The unit is also compatible with the optional CA 8 controller for added convenience, and PowerTwist TR1, 5-pin XLR and 3-pin XLR connections ensure broad connectivity. Fan cooling maintains reliable performance during extended use.
