The Equinox Helix Scan XP is a powerful 150W scanner LED effect light built to deliver crisp, far-reaching gobo projections with exceptional clarity and coverage. A high-output 150W cool white LED (8,000K) combined with superior optics and a 15° beam angle produces an impressive 9,645 Lux at 2 metres, while motorised focus ensures sharp, precise projection at any throw distance. A 3-facet circular rotating prism splits projections across a larger area, creating a dynamic and engaging multi-beam display well suited to stages, live events, clubs, weddings and large entertainment venues.

Featuring 8 rotating, interchangeable gobos and a 9-colour plus open colour wheel, the Helix Scan XP offers extensive creative flexibility from the outset. An additional 11-piece gobo pack is included, covering many popular events and celebrations and bringing the total gobo selection to 19. Clever programming allows a single gobo to be selected and paired with a specific colour, activated automatically or via sound. The Helix Scan XP can be linked with the Helix Roller XP and Helix XP to create fully synchronised multi-fixture shows, making it a powerful component of a wider Helix XP lighting rig.

Motorised Focus & 3-Facet Rotating Prism

The motorised focus system ensures crisp, well-defined gobo projection is maintained across varying throw distances without any manual adjustment, making the Helix Scan XP well suited to both fixed installations and touring setups where the throw distance may change between venues. The 3-facet circular rotating prism splits the projected image into multiple beams simultaneously, distributing the effect across a larger area for a more impressive and dynamic result. With 130° pan and 42° tilt, the scanner can cover a wide range of positions and surfaces within a venue.

Extensive Gobo Selection & Clever Programming

Eight rotating, interchangeable gobos paired with a 9-colour plus open colour wheel provide a strong creative foundation, while the included 11-piece additional gobo pack expands the total selection to 19 gobos covering a broad range of popular events and celebrations. Built-in programming allows a single gobo to be isolated and combined with a specific colour from the colour wheel, triggered automatically or via sound — offering a high degree of creative control without requiring complex DMX knowledge.

Synchronised Shows & Flexible Control

The Helix Scan XP can be linked with the Helix Roller XP and Helix XP to create fully synchronised multi-fixture shows, making it an ideal companion piece within the wider Helix XP range. DMX channel modes of 2, 10 or 12 are selectable to suit setups of varying complexity, and the optional CA 8 controller provides convenient hands-on control. PowerTwist input and output alongside 3-pin XLR connections allow easy daisy chaining, and a 5kHz refresh rate ensures flicker-free performance on camera.
