The Mackie Thump15V4 is a professional 1400W powered loudspeaker delivering 130dB maximum SPL and a remarkably deep 34Hz low frequency response, making it the loudest, lowest and clearest everyday gigging solution in the Thump series to date. Built around a 15" low frequency driver and 1" custom compression driver powered by a 1400W Class-D amplifier, it is equally at home as a main PA speaker, DJ system, stage monitor or general-purpose loudspeaker across a wide range of live sound applications. At the heart of the Thump15V4 is SoundCheck DSP™ — a powerful digital signal processing system featuring four user-selectable voicing modes (Flat, DJ, Live and Wedge) that optimise the speaker's response for the specific application at the press of a button, removing the need for external processing or complex setup procedures.

SoundCheck DSP™ also incorporates three instant setup features that make every gig run more smoothly: a Feedback Eliminator that prevents ear-piercing microphone feedback automatically, Music Ducking that tastefully dims music whenever the mic is in use, and an Outdoor Mode that compensates for the acoustic differences of outdoor environments to maintain full, punchy sound. Bluetooth streaming from smartphones and tablets works simultaneously with analogue inputs and passes through to the XLR mix output, and two Thump15V4 speakers can be wirelessly linked for stereo, zone or dual mono playback. The Thump Connect 2 app provides full wireless control of every setting and EQ adjustment from across the room. A built-in mixer with dual combo XLR/TRS inputs, a 1/8" aux input and an XLR mix output completes a comprehensive and genuinely versatile feature set, and three M10 fly points allow suspended installation for permanent venue applications.

Flat mode delivers a neutral and pure response for general use, DJ mode optimises the speaker for music playback, Live mode configures it as a PA speaker for speech, karaoke and live shows, and Wedge mode tailors the response for stage monitor use — making setup as simple as selecting the appropriate mode and pressing a button.

Feedback Eliminator, Music Ducking & Outdoor Mode

Three intelligent SoundCheck DSP™ instant setup features make every performance easier. The Feedback Eliminator automatically prevents ear-piercing microphone feedback without requiring any technical knowledge, Music Ducking tastefully reduces the music level when a mic signal is detected so announcements never bring the energy to a halt, and Outdoor Mode automatically compensates for the acoustic differences of outdoor environments — preventing the loss of high-frequency presence and punch that typically affects speakers used outside.

Two Thump15V4 units can be wirelessly linked for stereo, zone or dual mono playback without cables, and the Thump Connect 2 app provides complete wireless control of every speaker setting and EQ parameter from anywhere in the room.
