The Arturia KeyStep Mk2 refines compact keyboard control with a velocity-sensitive 32-note Slimkey keyboard featuring aftertouch, delivering expressive play in a highly portable form. Pitch and modulation strips provide intuitive real-time shaping, while chord and scale modes encourage fresh melodic exploration.
Generative Sequencing Power
Designed as an “ideas machine”, the KeyStep Mk2 goes far beyond standard control. Its polyphonic step sequencer, 16-mode arpeggiator, pattern chaining, and real-time mutation tools work together to inspire new ideas. Capture an arpeggio and instantly convert it to a sequence, overdub automation, or apply the Mutate function to generate evolving musical variations.
Portable, Streamlined Design
Built to travel and fit into any setup, the KeyStep Mk2 maintains a slim, lightweight form without sacrificing control depth. Its compact 484 mm frame sits neatly in any studio or live rig, offering quick access to all essential creative parameters and transport controls.
Universal Connectivity
The KeyStep Mk2 connects seamlessly to hardware and software environments alike, featuring USB-C MIDI, MIDI DIN I/O, Sync In/Out, and four assignable CV outputs for Pitch, Gate, Mod 1, and Mod 2. With sustain and expression pedal inputs, it serves as the central hub for modular synths, DAWs, and hardware sequencers.
