Fender Original 150's strings recapture the sound of pure nickel wound strings, packaged in Fender's distinctive Tweed-style packaging. Pure Nickel 150's are lightly wrapped with a pure nickel wire cover to reduce finger noise and give a warm, full tone, perfect for blues, jazz, and classic rock, with a smooth feel and reduced finger noise compared to nickel-plated steel alternatives. The Light gauge (9-42) suits comfortable bending while retaining the round, vintage character pure nickel is known for. Ball-end design.

Both work excellent and are the best clip-on tuners I have used.
