The Ibanez PICLS6NT is a 6-string classical guitar string set in normal tension, sold as a 4-pack. The treble strings (G, B, high E) use clear nylon, producing the warm, clear tone fundamental to classical guitar. The bass strings (E, A, D) use silver-plated wound construction over a nylon core, providing the warmth and resonance that classical bass strings require. Normal tension sits between the lower resistance of low-tension strings and the higher resistance and projection of high-tension sets, making it the most broadly applicable choice for classical instruments and playing styles. Gauges: .0280 / .0322 / .0403 (treble); .028 / .036 / .041 (bass wound).
