The Big Muff Pi 2 is a modern revival of an alternate Big Muff fuzz circuit originally developed in the late 1970s and rediscovered by effects designers. It delivers the signature gutsy sustain and rich saturation that players love, but with a distinctive character thanks to a dual op-amp architecture that offers a unique tonal edge — deeper low-end presence, pronounced midrange and crisp top-end response that sets it apart from standard versions of this legendary fuzz family.

Featuring the familiar Volume, Tone and Sustain controls, the Big Muff Pi 2 lets you dial in everything from gritty breakup and thick rhythm fuzz to singing sustain and lead-ready saturation. Its compact nano chassis is pedalboard friendly, and the updated footswitch allows both traditional latching and momentary activation for creative fuzz bursts or performance cues.
True bypass and versatile power options for pedalboard use.
True bypass ensures your clean signal remains intact when the effect is disengaged, and the pedal can be powered by a standard 9 V battery (included) or an optional 9 V DC power supply (sold separately), making it flexible for rehearsal, live or studio rigs.
