The Citronic CSP-408 is a compact and fully featured 2 x 200W powered mixer designed to provide a comprehensive audio solution for mobile PA, bars, special events and medium-sized venues. Featuring four balanced XLR/TRS combo mic/line inputs each with 3-band EQ and aux send, alongside two stereo inputs, it offers a flexible and well-specified input stage to accommodate a wide variety of sources. Switchable +48V phantom power supports condenser microphones on the XLR inputs, and a 7-band global graphic EQ provides effective overall tone shaping across the main output. The internal stereo amplifier delivers 2 x 200W RMS at 4 Ohms — enough to drive two or four speaker cabinets comfortably for solid coverage in medium-sized venues.

A 24-bit 16-program DSP effects section with tap tempo provides a versatile range of vocal and instrument effects, and balanced main XLR outputs allow connection to additional amplification or recording equipment. A 2-track RCA input and output and a headphone output on a 6.3mm jack add further flexibility, making the CSP-408 a genuinely all-round powered mixer solution. With a frequency response of 20Hz–30kHz and THD+N of less than 0.01%, it delivers clean and reliable audio performance throughout.

Flexible Input Stage & Per-Channel EQ

The CSP-408 features four balanced XLR/TRS combo mic/line inputs, each equipped with 3-band EQ (80Hz shelving, 2.5kHz band pass and 12kHz shelving, all ±15dB) and an aux send for monitor or effects routing. Two additional stereo inputs further expand connectivity, and +48V phantom power on the XLR inputs ensures compatibility with condenser microphones. With a mic sensitivity range of -60 to +14dBu and a balanced input impedance of 2k Ohms, the input stage is well suited to both dynamic and condenser microphones across a range of sources.

7-Band Graphic EQ & DSP Effects

The 7-band global graphic EQ provides straightforward and effective tone control across the main output, making it easy to compensate for room acoustics and optimise the sound for different venues and environments. The 24-bit 16-program DSP effects section operates at 40kHz with sigma-delta conversion, offering a clean and high-quality effects signal chain with tap tempo for time-based effects such as delay. The combination of per-channel EQ, global graphic EQ and DSP effects gives operators a high degree of control over the final sound without the need for external processing equipment.

Powerful Amplifier & Versatile Connectivity

The internal stereo amplifier delivers 2 x 200W RMS at 4 Ohms or 2 x 130W RMS at 8 Ohms via L+R SPK connectors, providing ample power to drive two or four passive speaker cabinets for medium-sized venue coverage. Balanced main XLR outputs allow connection to additional power amplifiers or recording equipment, and 2-track RCA inputs and outputs provide convenient playback and recording connectivity. A 6.3mm headphone output supporting 30–600 Ohms impedance allows for private monitoring, and the standard IEC power connection ensures straightforward integration into any existing setup.
