Deep Bass Performance – Citronic CASA-18BA 18" Active Subwoofer.

The Citronic CASA-18BA is the largest model in the CASA active subwoofer series, delivering outstanding low-frequency power for larger PA setups. Equipped with an 18-inch high flex driver and a Class D amplifier, this sub produces 600W RMS (2200W peak) output with a frequency range extending down to 45Hz, making it ideal for live bands, DJs, clubs, and event spaces that demand a full, impactful low-end response.

The rugged MDF cabinet with a durable polyurea finish ensures long-lasting performance even in demanding environments, while the front steel grille provides excellent driver protection. Designed as the perfect companion for CASA full-range speakers, the CASA-18BA also integrates seamlessly into other active PA systems.

Connectivity And System Flexibility

The CASA-18BA offers stereo balanced XLR line inputs, parallel link outputs, and dedicated high-pass filtered outputs for connecting to satellite speakers. This allows for a variety of system configurations, from single sub setups to more complex multi-speaker rigs. A switchable phase control helps align bass response across multiple speakers, avoiding cancellations and delivering consistent, powerful low-end performance.

Practical Design For Portable PA Systems

Despite its size, the CASA-18BA remains manageable thanks to two integrated side handles for easy lifting and transport. A 35mm top pole mount socket allows direct mounting of mid/top cabinets, helping create a compact, full-range PA setup. This makes it equally suited to mobile DJs, rental companies, and fixed installations where deep, controlled bass reinforcement is required.
