The QTX SG300 Short Shotgun Microphone (173.638UK) is a compact, battery-powered condenser shotgun mic tailored for directional audio in video and portable applications. Its switchable cardioid/hypercardioid pattern (controlled by a 3-way on/off switch) provides focused pickup with excellent off-axis rejection, ideal for isolating subjects in noisy environments like interviews, vlogs, film shoots, or ambient capture. The shorter 297mm interference tube offers good reach and narrow directivity in a more portable form factor compared to longer models.

Powered by a single AA battery (no phantom needed), it features an integral balanced XLRM connector for straightforward connection to cameras, recorders, or mixers.
