The BOSS RV-500 is a powerful and versatile reverb processor that delivers studio-quality sound in a pedal format. It features class-leading 32-bit AD/DA conversion, 32-bit floating point processing, and a 96 kHz sampling rate, providing a new benchmark for reverb pedals. It is designed for professional musicians who demand the highest level of sonic quality and creative flexibility.
Advanced Reverb Algorithms and Control
The RV-500 includes 12 modes with a total of 21 newly developed reverb algorithms, including classic options like Room, Hall, Plate, and Spring, along with more modern and unique sounds. It has a unique "A/B Simul" mode that allows you to run two independent reverb patches at once. A graphic LCD display and hands-on controls make it easy to navigate and edit patches. The pedal also supports MIDI I/O for advanced setups and a USB port for use with the free RV-500 Editor/Librarian software.
Versatile Performance and Connectivity
With 297 onboard patch memories, you can store and recall your favorite reverb sounds instantly. The RV-500 offers flexible bypass options, allowing you to choose between true-bypass for a pure signal or buffered-bypass to maintain signal integrity over long cable runs. Its comprehensive connectivity, including stereo inputs and outputs, makes it suitable for any setup, from a simple pedalboard to a complex studio rig.
