Description

Fast, Accurate & Easy To Use Clip-On Chromatic Tuner For Guitar, Bass & All Stringed Instruments – Snark SN99X Black.

The Snark SN99X is a compact clip-on chromatic tuner compatible with guitar, bass, violin, ukulele, mandolin and all other stringed instruments. Snark's proprietary tuning software delivers fast and accurate chromatic pitch detection across all registers, and the full-colour LCD display rotates through 360° for a clear, easy-to-read readout from any angle — whether the tuner is clipped to the headstock of an acoustic guitar, an upright bass or any other instrument. The headstock clip features rubber padding to protect the instrument finish during vibration-based tuning, and the compact and lightweight design keeps it unobtrusive in use and easy to carry between rehearsals and gigs.

Fast & Accurate Chromatic Tuning

Snark's proprietary tuning software provides fast and accurate chromatic pitch detection across all stringed instruments and registers, making the SN99X a genuinely versatile tuner for any musician regardless of what they play. The vibration-based clip-on design allows tuning in noisy environments where a microphone-based tuner would struggle, picking up the instrument's vibrations directly through the headstock for a clean and reliable signal.

360° Rotating Display For Any Position

The full-colour LCD display rotates through a full 360°, making it easy to read from any angle regardless of how the tuner is oriented on the instrument — particularly useful when tuning an instrument resting on a stand, laying flat or held in an unconventional position. The compact clip with rubber padding attaches securely to the headstock without risking damage to the instrument's finish.

Used Snark over the years and this was an offer too good to turn down. It's now in my guitar case and ready for service.

It what its designed ro do very well

Pleased to see that Snark have updated their design - the plastic ball/grip mechanism behind the display used to snap with minimal use. The only other gripe - and it's a big one - is whether the rubber used in the clamp will last for a good length of time and not decay into a sludge-goo threatening my many guitar's nitro finish. These points aside, the Snark outputs a clear and accurate pitch display which is invaluable to any musician. A great idea at a good price point.

OK for most musicians but the one I received is not very accurate. As a luthier, I need good accuracy. It would be fine for use at home or occasional gigs.

Really happy with the PC and the service received. Communication was excellent throughout the build process. All delivered in good time and received with plenty of helpful advice, especially from Kieran after delivery to help me set it up.

Will definitely recommend. Many thanks

Very bright and easy to see

Ordered guitar strings which arrived in two days, inside package was an offer for a guitar tuner which also arrived in two days. Excellent customer service.

Terence Hamilton

At the offer price this was very good value for money. I have generally found Snark tuners to be very good although with the low tunings I use I often find they can take a little time to give an accurate reading moving from string to string. Otherwise, Great!

Jake Glanville

The Snark SN1X clip on guitar tuner is a very handy and accurate tuner, very easy to use and at a great prices too! 👍🌟🍺😸

Jason Davey

This is my second Snark Tuner, there are various versions, this one is for use at home the other is RF shielded and has rubber protection incase dropped. Both work excellent and are the best clip-on tuners I have used. The service given by Audio Direct was first class, Dave even telephoned me to discuss a query I had not something many online traders would do so overall 10/10

Powerful, purpose‑built music production PC that fits extremely well with the demands of Asian music

If you’re into producing Asian music — Bollywood & Bhangra this system is exactly what you need

i have huge sample libraries — sitar, tabla, erhu, taiko drums — plus modern synth layers and this PC handles all of it without breaking a sweat.

Musical, dependable looper offering rich stereo sound, generous memory, and helpful rhythm options. Ideal for practice, songwriting, and live performance

It sounds like it's supposed to sound, easy to shape the tone on each of my electric guitars. Yes, each of the amplugs is a one (or two) trick pony, but they do what they're supposed to well, and they each sound like the amp they emulate.

Daniel

Really good clear display, large screen for easy use. Light touch activation button, accurate tuning. Sturdy strong feel but light, Nice shade of blue shell. fits securely to headstock, easy to detach. Pleased with my purchase.
