The Stagg MXS-A1 is a height and width adjustable four-leg table-style stand designed for keyboards, digital pianos, mixing desks, DJ controllers, and other music and audio equipment. Unlike X-frame keyboard stands, the MXS-A1 uses four independent telescopic legs in a rectangular configuration, providing a stable four-point base that supports the instrument flat across two parallel rails rather than at a single central pivot point. The width adjusts from 73cm to 111.5cm (28.7 to 43.9 inches) to accommodate instruments from compact 61-key synths to full-width 88-key pianos and large-format mixers. Height adjusts from 59cm to 71cm (23.2 to 28 inches) at each individual leg, allowing the stand to be levelled accurately on uneven surfaces. Maximum load capacity is 50kg, and the stand folds flat to 73 x 32 x 12cm for transport and storage. Rubber feet on all four legs prevent the stand from moving across hard floors during use.

Width adjustment is made using the telescoping rail mechanism, secured with thumbscrews, allowing the top rails to extend or retract to match the width of the instrument being supported. Each leg height is adjusted and locked independently, which means the stand can be set level on sloped or uneven surfaces without shimming. The 73 to 111.5cm width range covers most keyboards and mixers currently on the market, including 88-key instruments from Yamaha, Casio, Roland, Korg, and others.
