Reliable Balanced Signal Transmission For Stage And Studio – Stagg SMC6 6m XLR Microphone Cable

The Stagg SMC6 is a 6-metre balanced XLR microphone cable, terminated with a 3-pin XLR male connector at one end and a 3-pin XLR female connector at the other. The balanced signal path effectively rejects electromagnetic interference and hum, making it suitable for use in environments where noise from lighting rigs, power supplies, and other electronic equipment could otherwise compromise audio quality. The cable is finished in a flexible black PVC jacket, which makes it easy to route, coil, and store without kinking or stiffening over time.

Suitable for a wide range of professional and semi-professional applications, the SMC6 is commonly used to connect microphones to mixing desks, link DI boxes to stage boxes, run signal from instruments to audio interfaces, and connect active speakers to mixers. Its 6-metre length makes it ideal for medium-sized performance spaces as well as for studio use. The cable is RoHS compliant, confirming it meets European standards for the restriction of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

Build and Design

The cable is terminated with metal-bodied 3-pin XLR connectors at both ends — male (output) and female (input) — which are the standard format for connecting microphones, mixing consoles, active speakers, audio interfaces, stage boxes, and a wide range of professional audio equipment.
