Unlike instrument cables, speaker cables are built to handle the high current and power requirements of speaker-level signals, ensuring efficient transfer of amplified sound without risk to equipment. These cables are ideal for rehearsal, stage and studio rigs where dependable performance is essential.
Durable construction with clear, full-range signal.
Featuring thick 16 AWG conductors and a flexible PVC jacket, these cables deliver clear, unaltered speaker-level signal while resisting kinks, bends and repeated tugging. The straight-to-straight ¼″ mono plugs provide secure connections to amplifiers and cabinets, and the robust exterior stands up to daily use on the road or in rehearsal spaces.
Two length options to suit different setups.
Ernie Ball supplies Classic Speaker Cables in two standard lengths — a shorter 3 ft version for compact rigs and pedalboard sidechains, and a 6 ft version when greater reach between head and cab is needed. Both maintain the same build quality and performance standards, giving you flexibility to match your setup’s needs.
