The Wharfedale Pro Tourus-AX8-MBT is an 8-inch two-way active PA loudspeaker engineered for demanding performance environments, delivering a huge sound from a compact, road-ready cabinet. At its core, this speaker features a sophisticated bi-amplified Class D system, pushing a total of 250 W continuous power (500 W Peak) that is finely tuned for its custom LF and HF drivers.

Crucially, the Tourus-AX8-MBT ensures sparkling, accurate highs by employing a class-leading 1.75-inch HF compression driver, a feature typically found in higher-tier systems. Designed for reliability and silent operation, the internal amplification uses highly efficient convection cooling to eliminate fans, avoiding operational noise and potential mechanical failure.

For added flexibility, the AX8-MBT includes Bluetooth and USB playback. Connect wirelessly to your device, link two Tourus speakers using TWS, or play tracks directly from a USB drive. RCA, XLR, and jack inputs provide connectivity for mixers, instruments, and microphones, while M8 rigging points allow secure installation.

Housed in a durable, injection-moulded polypropylene enclosure with a full-face steel grille, the speaker is ready for the rigours of DJ sets, live bands, and permanent installations, offering exceptional power and clarity at a competitive price point.
