Laney BCC-DB-EAST – Stage-ready power and flexibility for professional bassists.

The DB-EAST delivers a total of 1000 W (2 × 500W RMS outputs) from a compact bass head chassis. Designed in collaboration with top-tier session and gig bassist Nathan East, it’s built to handle everything from club-sized gigs to stadium stages — with clarity, headroom and punch that remain balanced even under high volume or complex mix conditions.

Dual-input design and dual DI outputs for maximum routing flexibility.

With two separate instrument inputs and two corresponding direct-output paths, the DB-EAST lets you run dual instruments (such as an electric and an upright bass) or redundantly parallel rig paths. Each input has its own dedicated DI output, so front-of-house engineers or recording interfaces can receive independent signals. This dual-routing design is especially useful for session work, complex rigs or live setups requiring multiple outputs.

Hybrid preamp architecture and deep tone control.

The amp offers both FET-based clean preamp and a tube-style drive preamp. These can be individually selected or blended using the dedicated mix control, enabling a wide range of sonic characters — from tight, punchy bass to warm, harmonically rich overdrive. The built-in three-band EQ (Bass, Middle with selectable mid-voicing, Treble) plus a Tilt control let you shape your tone precisely to match diverse genres.

Modern DI, cabinet-emulation and connectivity for studio or live use.

Onboard digital cabinet-emulation technology allows you to choose or load impulse responses (IRs) for DI output — giving you cabinet-simulated tone without needing a physical speaker cab. Two separate DI outs (one per input) support dual-rig setups or independent feeds for FOH and monitoring. Additional features such as speaker-level outputs (SpeakON/¼″), footswitch compatibility, global master volume and balanced-output DIs make this head a versatile choice for live, studio or hybrid workflows.
