The BOSS EV-1-WL is the world's first wireless MIDI expression pedal, offering a new level of creative freedom for musicians. It is designed to provide seamless foot control for a wide range of MIDI music devices, including hardware, software, and mobile apps, without the clutter of cables.
Three-Way Connectivity
The EV-1-WL offers versatile connectivity with three simultaneous connection methods: Bluetooth, USB, and TRS MIDI. This allows you to control a variety of devices, from compatible BOSS products like the Waza-Air and Katana-Air to music software on a computer and standard MIDI devices. You can even use all three connections at the same time with independent MIDI CC assignments for each.
Expressive Control and Customisation
This expression pedal goes beyond simple volume control. It features a built-in toe switch with on/off indicators, which can be assigned to various functions. The control input allows you to connect up to two external footswitches for even more control options. The dedicated "EV-1-WL Editor" app for iOS and Android lets you customize MIDI CC assignments, adjust the pedal's response curve, and fine-tune its performance to your liking.
