The BOSS FZ-1W Waza Craft Fuzz is a premium pedal that redefines classic fuzz sounds, blending vintage tone and feel with modern versatility and stability. Part of the acclaimed Waza Craft series, this all-analog pedal was created through a deep analysis of legendary fuzz circuits. It features top-quality silicon transistors for a consistent and reliable performance that vintage pedals often lack.
The FZ-1W offers two distinct modes for a wide range of tones:

Vintage Mode: This mode delivers a retro fuzz experience with an aggressive tone and dynamic touch response. It is highly sensitive to your guitar's volume knob, allowing you to transition from heavy fuzz to a crunchy rhythm or even a crystal-clean tone. The Tone knob in this mode is a powerful tilt EQ that simultaneously adjusts high and low frequencies.

Modern Mode: This mode provides a more refined and versatile fuzz with a fatter sound and focused mid-range. It has an even wider gain range, making it ideal for solos with rich, singing sustain. The Tone knob in this mode is specifically tuned to sculpt the high end without reducing the mid-range, ensuring you don't get lost in the mix.
The pedal can also be used as a powerful boost by turning down the Fuzz knob and increasing the Level.
