BOSS VE-2 - Real-Time Harmonies & Vocal Processing at Your Feet
The VE-2 lets singers create lush vocal harmonies effortlessly. You can use Auto mode (listening to a guitar input), Key mode (manual key selection), or Hybrid mode (mix of guitar and manual key input). Choose from 12 basic harmony types, each with variation modes for fuller textures. It’s intuitive and powerful, with minimal setup required.
Essential Effects, Vocal Enhancement & Loopback
Beyond harmony, the VE-2 includes echo/reverb, an “Enhance” function for smoothing dynamics, and optional subtle pitch correction. The Echo dial gives you control over wet/dry mix and effect type, while the Enhance button adds studio polish on the fly. The unit also supports Loopback via USB to blend computer audio with vocal processing.
Connectivity & Performance Flexibility
With balanced XLR mic input supporting phantom power—even when battery-powered—the VE-2 handles professional mic types with ease. There’s also a guitar input and thru output, line/phones output, memory slots for presets, USB audio interface functionality, and option to power via AA batteries or adaptor.
