The PLX2000 is a professional 2-channel power amplifier designed for high-demand PA systems, live venues, and installation setups. Delivering 2 x 1000W RMS into 2Ω loads and 2 x 700W RMS into 4Ω, this amplifier ensures reliable, high-quality power for driving large PA speaker arrays or active subwoofers. With bridge mode, the amplifier can deliver up to 1700W RMS into a single 4Ω load, making it ideal for mono, high-output applications.

Built for reliability, the PLX2000 uses a Class H amplifier architecture with dual fan cooling, ensuring safe operation even under heavy loads. Its high damping factor (>400) and low total harmonic distortion (0.05%) guarantee clean, dynamic audio performance.

Connectivity And Operation

Inputs are balanced via XLR connectors, while outputs are available on 2 Speakon connectors or 4mm binding posts, providing versatile connectivity for PA systems. The amplifier features switchable ground lift, bridge mode, and a clip limiter to prevent overloads and ensure safe, long-term operation.

Build And Design

The 2U 19" rackmount chassis is constructed for durability and convenient integration into professional rack systems. Dual fans maintain optimal internal temperature, and the amplifier’s front panel includes channel level controls, mode selection, and clip limiter indicators.
