Citronic Q-PAD-8 – A feature-rich compact mixer with USB audio, Bluetooth streaming and onboard effects for live and studio use.

The Citronic Q-PAD-8 is a multi-functional compact mixer designed for live performance, project studios, laptop DJs and podcasting. Despite its small footprint, it delivers a comprehensive set of analogue mixing features combined with modern digital connectivity, making it suitable for a wide range of audio applications.

Integrated USB audio and wireless playback

Powered via a USB-C connection, the Q-PAD-8 includes a dedicated USB-C audio interface for direct recording and playback with a PC. A built-in USB-A media player supports MP3 and WMA playback from a pen drive, while the integrated Bluetooth receiver allows wireless audio streaming from smartphones and tablets.

Flexible inputs, routing and onboard effects

Four mono channels accept XLR microphone inputs or 6.3 mm line or instrument signals, with selectable input types and individually switchable +48 V phantom power for condenser microphones. Two additional stereo line channels support 6.3 mm connections or mono operation. Each channel features Gain, Bass and Treble controls, along with an AUX send that can route signals to the internal digital delay effect or out to external equipment.

Comprehensive output options

Main outputs are available on both jack and XLR connections, alongside dedicated headphone, AUX and RCA recording outputs. This flexible routing makes the Q-PAD-8 equally suited to PA systems, recording devices and monitoring setups.

Both work excellent and are the best clip-on tuners I have used.
