Transforms your guitar or keyboard into classic electric piano sounds

The Electro-Harmonix KEY9 is an innovative effects pedal that takes the sound of your instrument and emulates iconic electric piano tones — from classic Rhodes and Wurlitzer voices to vibes, mallets, organ and steel drum textures. Based on the pedigree of the EHX B9 and C9 Organ Machines, the KEY9 brings expressive electro-acoustic sound design to your pedalboard with fast, accurate tracking and musically usable presets.

Expressive presets with modulation and control

Nine carefully crafted presets give you a wide palette of keyboard-style voices including Dynamo, Wurli, Suitcase, Eighty Eight, Tri-Glorious, Vibes, Organ, Mallets and Steel Drums. Each preset allows access to variation parameters, often including adjustable modulation such as tremolo, chorus or phaser. Dedicated knobs let you blend dry and keys signal levels while controlling per-preset characteristics via CTRL 1 and CTRL 2.

Flexible outputs and buffered bypass

The KEY9 provides both DRY and KEYS outputs so you can route the original instrument signal separately from the effected electric-piano-style tone. Buffered bypass ensures stable signal integrity when the effect is not engaged. Its robust construction and intuitive controls make it equally suitable for stage performance, studio work or creative sound exploration.

Both work excellent and are the best clip-on tuners I have used.
