The Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi (US BM) is one of the most iconic and enduring fuzz/distortion pedals in rock history, defining the sound of generations of guitarists and fuzz fans. Originally released in 1969 and produced in New York City, this pedal delivers crushing distortion, creamy sustain and harmonically rich tones that have shaped classic recordings from Hendrix and Santana to contemporary rock and alternative music.

Powerful, responsive fuzz with expressive control

Featuring a simple but versatile three-knob layout — Volume, Tone and Sustain — the Big Muff Pi gives players intuitive control over output level, character and harmonic texture. Whether used for thick, singing lead lines, saturated rhythm fuzz or gritty overdriven tones, this pedal responds musically to pick dynamics and guitar volume changes while retaining a distinctive voice.

Compact, rugged and stage-ready.

Built to withstand the rigours of rehearsals and live performance, the Big Muff Pi’s compact metal enclosure and true bypass switching ensure reliable operation on pedalboards. A standard 9 V DC power option and included battery make it easy to integrate into any rig without fuss.

This is my second Snark Tuner, there are various versions, this one is for use at home the other is RF shielded and has rubber protection incase dropped. Both work excellent and are the best clip-on tuners I have used.
