Elixir NANOWEB 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings are constructed with 80/20 (80% copper, 20% zinc) bronze wrap wire, delivering a bright tone with an expressive, vibrant presence. The ultra-thin NANOWEB coating protects the entire string — not just the outer surface — sealing the gaps between windings where tone-deadening grime typically accumulates. Anti-rust plating on the plain steel strings extends tone life across the whole set. The result is a string that plays and feels like an uncoated string while lasting considerably longer, with a smooth, comfortable feel that also reduces finger squeak during recording and quiet passages.
