The Ernie Ball FretWrap by Gruv Gear is a simple but effective muting accessory designed for studio and session players who need cleaner takes without unwanted string noise. Sliding onto the neck, it cuts overtones and sympathetic resonance during recording, live performance, or two-hand tapping, acting as an extra muting hand whenever it's needed.

The adjustable strap allows players to fine-tune pressure and dampening to suit their instrument and playing style, with no modification, installation, or tools required. When not in use, the FretWrap simply slides over the headstock, ready to be repositioned in seconds. This SM size fits 4-string basses, 6-string electric and acoustic guitars, and ukuleles.

Effective String Muting

By dampening unwanted overtones and sympathetic resonance, the FretWrap helps deliver cleaner recordings and performances, particularly useful during two-hand tapping or complex playing techniques where extra muting is needed.

This is my second Snark Tuner, there are various versions, this one is for use at home the other is RF shielded and has rubber protection incase dropped. Both work excellent and are the best clip-on tuners I have used.
