It functions as a contoured neck cradle that holds the instrument securely during string changes, setup adjustments, and cleaning, a stable tabletop rest that prevents the instrument from moving on any flat surface, and a small accessory tray that keeps picks, screws, tools, and small parts organised and close to hand during a job.

The cushioning material is non-marring throughout, engineered to protect lacquer, nitrocellulose, satin, and oil finishes without leaving marks or residue.
