The Ernie Ball P02252 is a Hybrid Slinky set from the Classic Rock N Roll range, made from pure nickel wire wrapped around a tin-plated, hex-shaped steel core wire, producing the warm, rich tone characteristic of pure nickel electric guitar strings. The Hybrid Slinky gauge (.009/.011/.016/.026/.036/.046) pairs lighter top strings for easy bending with heavier wound strings for added low-end stability, sitting between the Super Slinky and Regular Slinky gauges in terms of overall tension.

All Ernie Ball strings are precision manufactured to strict tolerances and specifications, ensuring consistency, optimum performance, and long working life across every set. The Classic Rock N Roll range has been used by generations of guitarists — from Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton through to Slash and Steve Vai — for the vintage pure nickel character that defined much of the guitar tone from the genre's earliest decades.
