The Ernie Ball P02229 Hyper Slinky is a nickel wound electric guitar string set with a gauge of .008/.011/.014/.024w/.032/.042. Hyper Slinkys sit neatly between the popular Super Slinky and Extra Slinky strings, providing a light, fast feel with slightly less tension on the top strings. This combination is perfect for players looking for added playability with minimal differences in tone and tension compared to Super Slinky strings. Ernie Ball Slinkys are wound with nickel-plated steel wire around a hex-shaped steel core, with plain strings made from specially tempered, tin-plated high carbon steel, producing the well-balanced tone the Slinky range is known for. Element Shield Packaging prolongs string life and keeps the strings as fresh as the day they were made. Made in California, USA, with the finest and freshest materials.

This is my second Snark Tuner, there are various versions, this one is for use at home the other is RF shielded and has rubber protection incase dropped. Both work excellent and are the best clip-on tuners I have used.
