The Focusrite Scarlett Studio 4th Gen takes the Scarlett Solo interface and pairs it with a condenser microphone and studio headphones, giving everything needed to record vocals, guitar, and other sources without buying additional equipment separately. It is aimed at beginners and first-time home studio owners who want a complete, matched setup out of the box.
Scarlett Solo 4th Gen Interface
At the heart of the bundle is the Scarlett Solo 4th Gen, a compact USB-C audio interface with a single mic preamp and a dedicated Hi-Z instrument input. The mic preamp delivers clean, detailed recordings with a gain range of 57dB and an EIN of -127dBu, and Dynamic Gain Halos give a clear visual indication of input levels. The Hi-Z instrument input has a 1MΩ impedance that interacts naturally with guitar and bass pickups, making it well suited to recording direct into amp simulation plugins.
Air Modes
Two re-engineered Air modes give the interface a classic large-format console character. Presence mode adds a high-end lift that brings vocals and acoustic instruments forward in a mix. Harmonic Drive mode adds mid-range harmonic content that thickens guitars, vocals, and anything else that needs more character and punch.
CM25 MkIII Condenser Microphone
The included CM25 MkIII is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone designed to work closely with the Scarlett preamp. It captures vocals and acoustic instruments with clarity and detail, and connects directly to the interface's XLR input. Phantom power is supplied by the Solo, so no additional power source is needed.
SH-450 Headphones
The SH-450 headphones round out the bundle, providing a way to monitor recordings and mix without needing external speakers. They are driven by the Solo's custom headphone amplifier, which handles high-impedance headphones with a dynamic range of up to 115dB at 300Ω, giving clear and detailed playback straight out of the box.
Software Bundle
The Scarlett Studio 4th Gen ships with Ableton Live Lite, Pro Tools Intro+, and Cubase LE as DAW options, alongside the Hitmaker Expansion bundle which adds a range of instruments and effects plugins from third-party developers.
