Gibson 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings are built around a steel core wrapped in an 80% copper, 20% zinc alloy, delivering bright, crisp tones while keeping a natural balance between authentic acoustic sound and playability.

Tone And Construction

The 80/20 bronze winding is a long-standing favourite for acoustic players because of the lively, articulate top end it brings out of the top wood. Left uncoated, the strings keep maximum contact between string and finger, giving you the clearest possible feel and tone straight out of the pack.

Studio And Stage Performance

These strings are highly regarded in recording environments, where the bright, well-balanced character of 80/20 bronze translates cleanly through a microphone. That same tonal clarity carries over to live performance, giving your acoustic plenty of definition in a full band mix.

Both work excellent and are the best clip-on tuners I have used.
